Freedom is a Right!
Now that the war in Iraq is more or less over.
And the Battle for Human Rights has been won.
Hopefully, Democracy will now prevail in Iraq.
And not a Dictatorship, by the threat of a Gun!
Already the Iranians have sent in their Agents.
To try to turn the Peoples free mindset to hate!
If they fall for this Religious Regime’s old tricks.
They’ll find their New Freedom is gone too late!
At the moment the Iraqis are naturally unsettled.
Freedom, is a state they haven’t known for years.
Their normal existence has been filled by terror!
And a cruelty that brought much heartache and tears.
So it’s with patience and much understanding.
That we must gently show the Iraqis the light.
That Democracy is in their very best interest.
And that Freedom’s not a Rule, but their Right!
